The hotel is in a very central location - lots of places to eat, visit and walk to. The staff are so helpful and really took time and effort to make our stay special. We notified them that we were vegetarian and they made excellent very special breakfasts everyday. Special mentions to Nhu and Hanh for being so wonderful. Only negative is the pool is very small.

Would describe Retreat as a guest house. Comfortable and clean. Good bed nice pillows. Nice fluffy towels. Excellent AC which didn't give me a stuffy nose. WiFi good. Treated as a family member not a guest. Staff had good English conversation skills and always went out of their way to be helpful. Also provided currency exchange at a very good rate. Clean room, no hot water, friendly staff, we only stay for a day

We stayed for 3 days at this hotel and greatly enjoyed it. Not only that it was very quiet and the hotel was located in a great area with plenty of restaurants, but also the staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. For exame, they booked for us two trips to Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta and bought for us bus tickets to Mui Né. Highly recommended!

Staff was very accomodating.

This was my second stay and I stayed for a week in the hotel and it was great experience again, the hotel is located in an alley on main road. Don't worry though, this is not too deep in the alley, the alley have other shops also and is well lit and secure and it is easy to get to the hotel, hotel is very clean and nice. Fine hotel in great location in District 1. Helpful staff and good free buffet breakfast served daily. Bus 109 to and from the airport will stop in front of the hotel... Just ask. Only 20,000 Viet Dong each way less than US $1

The room was okay but the washroom was not good

We only stayed for 1 night but the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Overall is value for money

This is a small riverside hotel for those who want to relax away from the buzz of Ho Chi Minh city centre. Suites are large (we had a family suite) and beautifully decorated. The hotel has a nice restaurant with excellent breakfast, and a pleasant all day menu afterwards. We stayed in Saigon for 4 nights. The Louis Hostel was very nicely decorated to a high standard, very clean, and the Staff very welcoming. I would certainly recommend this hostel.

The hotel was good everyday they clean our room. The staff are friendly and approchable especially "Lana". And also one of the staff named Philip help us for the parking lot. The food are all delicious and healthy. And its very accessible for all shops . We might come back again sometime.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room didn't have an outside window and had rather dated decor, but was comfy and adequate for the price paid. Was in a great central location.
