"This was an experience like no other, an amazing location. These are eco-lodges, so they are basic, if you want 5* luxury this isn't for you, but you'd be missing out. The views are amazing, sitting on the balcony looking out to the lake in the distance. Everything is taken care of, you have torches and umbrellas. "So overall this hotel was an excellent option. My room had a great view, especially at night with the city lights against the mountainsides. The lock on the door, although it did lock, was a bit difficult and frustrating. However, Kandy City stay does get high marks for staff and their local tours. The hotel’s (mainly elephant park) was excellent and very economical. "
