"My room was spacious clean and modern. It was very safe and quiet. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. It is located 15 minute walk up steep road from city centre. Easy walking down and cheap uber tuk tuk ride back up the hill after leaving city center. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kandy."

"It was well located and a beautiful hotel in the public areas but my room was very plain and problems as noted and more expensive than an amazing hotel the next two nights. Also no menu on website so I just bought groceries and ate in my room"
"Cassendra staff eere welcoming and helpful - even before I arrived. They helped me find affordable transport for a day trip and when needed were able to serve my dinner extra quickly. Wifi was touch and go but ultimately held for a few video calls. The hotel is a bit old but rooms are spacious and clean with great bathrooms.
The location is know to tuktuk drivers and the mountain offers amazing views. Its also very close to the best Kandyan dancers (5 min walk) and a view point!"
