"The stay was good. It is fairly basic but the host was friendly. We had takeaway and ate it at the dining table as there wasn't really facilities to cook. It's about a 20 minute walk into Kandy, which is uphill on the way home. Also very dark at night to be walking on fairly winding roads."

"After reading other reviews and looking at pictures, we were very disappointed by our stay here. Upon arrival at the property, we had to wait to be greeted. When We walked into the property, all of the curtains were shut, and it was very dark and had a strange vibe. When we were shown to our room, it was in a bleak state. "We had a fantastic stay at Cassendra Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was perfectly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. A special mention to Dilrukshi, who truly made our stay feel like home. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made such a difference she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks to the friendly service and peaceful atmosphere.I would definitely recommend Cassendra Hotel to anyone looking for a cozy and well-managed place to stay.
