"Very unique and beautiful hotel. The only thing that let the staff down was their demeanour- I didn't meet a friendly staff member during my time there. Found it odd that you couldn't get towels at the spa, so we ran short of towels in our room. Good distance to centre of town. Large hill to be mindful of hard if walking. Car park is tiny and very difficult to get in and out of. But seriously stunning hotel. Breakfast looked amazing, a real orange juice machine, the cold foods had dry...

"The staff are very warm and welcoming. They made us feel really well looked after and seemed to really care that we had everything we needed. Exceptional service. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and once in the room, it was spacious and comfortable. But The hotel is in a really convenient area - a couple of minutes’ walk from the Eurostar terminal and just ten minutes’ walk to the historic centre. "

"Location and common dining areas were good.Giving it an Average rating - could have been excellent f the hallway carpets did not look dated. Further when booking a cab - we were given some pushy drivers trying to charge us the same price as big lux car and actually driving us in a small car. Had to speak to reception again to sort it out. some Food ran out at breakfast with no refill for 30 minutes had leave and had a lovely little hair in the scrambled eggs - we joked it was Vitamin H. "Overall the stay was good, nothing special, best thing is the location to the center if that’s what you’re looking for, then it’s worth a stay. Rooftop bar was booked for private group what was disappointing, since it was one of the reasons I selected the hotel. Carpets in room and halls looks very worn, but clean. "
