This is the place to visit if you want to relax and enjoy PdE. Perfectly located half way between the ‘barrios’ of La Barra and Manantiales, the owners and staff welcome guests into such a relaxed space where they cant do enough for you. Beer? No problem. Restaurant recommendation? I’ll reserve a table. Taxi? Its on its way. Staying here is like being a house guest in a beautifully designed home, I thoroughly recommend it

Overall, a very nice, high-end hotel. Breakfast was great, rooms very good, bedding was exceptional, friendly staff. The spa was a bit so-so (sauna was too cold) but overall a very good hotel.

What a wonderdul stay. Relaxed, beautiful, well-thought out hotel. Every room is an art installation, and every staff member attentive, professional and charming. Beautiful views of a stunning countryside from every window. We had our anniversary dinner there, and the staff set up a beautiful private table in the charming little wine cellar, wich was a very thoughtful gesture. An absolutely amazing stay – everything was perfect. From the beautifully styled rooms to the peaceful riverside setting, Hotel Charco exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was effortlessly relaxing. Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly recommended.

Complimentary bottled water or a refill station would be greatly appreciated for foreign guests for a hotel of this rating

Nice out of city property close to the airport. Vast amounts of unrestricted parking. Lovely green grounds, with pond, outdoor pool, and playing areas. Nice enough indoor pool, and gym, sauna although this area was a little tried and could do with improvement. Nice enough breakfast given the price. Food choice in the restaurant very limited but fine for a short stay. Other local options seem to only cater for lunch. Great Price to quality ratio.

We stayed at the suite and had an amazing time. The jacuzzi was fantastic and not expensive at all. Only thing negative was you could tell it had't been used for some time as there were some spider webs in the balcony and some other hidden areas. Other than that was great, very friendly staff, very nice breakfast and the surroundings of the hotel are stunning.
