The location of the hotel is beautiful, its amongst pine trees, in front of a huge lake, no noise, very quiet. Very friendly staff. Our room was very nice, huge and comfortable. The art work in the hotel is worth mentioning too

Beautiful surroundings and amazing view of the lake. Beds were comfortable but rooms are outdated and need maintenance. Need better signage as its not easy to arrive to the hotel at night. Restaurant staff was always shorthanded.

They had a private party outdoors, the music was to loud, it stopped around 4 am. It said they have barbecue grills out doors on the Expedia app, those grills don’t exist. The pool was great, the jacuzzi doesn’t work properly. The game area was ok. Staff really friendly.

Spent 4 days and 4 nights at Hotel del Lago with my wife for a vacation and to golf. The staff was great, extremely helpful and hospitable. The building is a bit run down, as mentioned in other reviews, so that was expected. Could definitely use a deep cleaning, but we were there in the Spring so may have had some lingering winter dust to knock off. The breakfast was good, standard Uruguayan resort breakfast from our experience, the dinner had some good dishes too, and with Punta del Lago 20 minutes away the options are bountiful. Can tell that this is definitely a family-oriented place and I image it gets very busy in the summer. Lot's to do. Paddle-boarding, biking, tennis, spa treatment and golf. There was also an impressive amount of artwork. Club del Lago is maintained but clearly not used as much as it used to be. The course is not irrigated except for the greens, so many of the fairways were local weeds/grass with dirt patches, which added to the challenge. It was near empty and had an extremely mellow vibe. Staying at the hotel we did get "free" golf, but cart rentals were $40-$80 for 9/18 holes, which was fine as the carts were newer and nice. Wife rented clubs, they were "ok". Beautiful course with some great holes and very good scenery. Weather was perfect, the vibe was excellent, the course just wasn't maintained up to US standards but was still a great experience altogether. Definitely recommend, just know it's going to be a unique experience!

The staff was very nice, the property is nice but need some cleaning and updating especially around the pool area, furniture outdated.The TV in the room was very old, could only get spanish channels and no streaming options.Will definitely use the Hotel again and recommend it to friend and family, great location and the best view, its quite and relaxing, just need some tender love

Foi uma experiência muito agradável. Hotel com muitas opções de lazer em local bem tranquilo e com uma bela paisagem. O quarto é espaçoso, com cama confortável, bom chuveiro e bela vista do bosque. Os corredores são adornados com belas obras de arte, muito bonito. Existem outras áreas comuns para apreciar no hotel. O atendimento da equipe foi impecável, especialmente do Santiago. Apreciamos a piscina e área de jogos, além do passeio no entorno do hotel, com vista para o lago. A distância não foi problemas pois havíamos alugado um carro. Se voltar a Punta del Este, pretendo me hospedar novamente aqui.

Quarto bem espaço com vista para o lago ( ponto negativo: 15-20 km do centro de Punta Del Este) Bom café da manhã !!! O quarto é extremamente espaçoso com lindas varandas para o lago, entretanto esta bem antigo e necessitando de reforma. No geral o hotel apesar de bem conservado parece que ficou parado na década de 90. O café da manhã é bastante bom com boas opções Há varias opções de lazer como golf, esportes nauticos ( o lago é bem frio mesmo no verão), bikes, piscina aquecida e spa. Ponto bem negativo é que ele é bem longe de Punta Del Este. Um uber esta custando em média 40 dolares por trecho, então se não estiver de carro, pense bem !!

Foi muito bom, pena que como a maioria dos hoteis fora da alta temporda, não todas as instalações funcionam. Bar da piscina por exemplo. O quarto que alugamos (suite) era muito grande e super confortavel com dois banheiros e banheiras. O problema do hotal esta mais de conservação das instalações. Limpeza das areas comuns por exemplo, A localização e otima.
