"Amazing place, full of charm and character with amazing hospitality. The hosts so generous and kind. Lovely breakfast. Secure and peaceful location with good parking. "
"Great room, good safe location, good value. We stayed in July. The Hotel was tidy, quiet and well maintained. Would definitely recommend. Staff were really helpful."
"Decent property, good price and very close to the airport. The only negative was the 10:30am checkout, but you can get a late checkout for 1-2 the room price. That’s BS. "
"Beautiful enstancia on the banks of the river Plata. Excellent rooms, local beaches at hand, pools, spa, restaurant on site. Bird-watcher's dream; very calm and peaceful. "
"Great location, staff was very helpful and accommodating and restaurant food was terrific. The breakfast buffet was also very good with a lot of options. "
"This is my second time staying at OWN Montevideo. We had an excellent stay, mainly due to the friendly and caring staff. Also, it is particularly convenient that they serve breakfast until 11 am."

Good
Miles of sandy beaches, if that's what you're looking for. Good dining options in the streets joining La Rambla/beach. I would suggest around 3 days to see the city and enjoy the beach, especially ehe sunrise and sunset.

Montevideo is a beautiful city, but the center and the old town are dirty and ugly. The government doesn't take care of those areas at all.

The hotel itself is fine. Montevideo is a great walking city. A little grimy in the downtown core but it has character. Watch for the street people for example. But overall a good experience. Better than i expected.
"Great room, good safe location, good value. We stayed in July. The Hotel was tidy, quiet and well maintained. Would definitely recommend. Staff were really helpful."
"This property is conveniently located, offers a reasonably varied breakfast, and the rooms are spacious and well furnished. Excellent water pressure. But the standout feature is the staff. They are so kind and helpful, trying hard to accommodate every need. They really made our stay a pleasant one, especially given that we had to land at this hotel at the last minute when our Airbnb didn’t work out. Bonus: they are pet friendly!
Things to know:
The hallways can be a bit noisy and the doors close very loudly
Beds are firm (typical for the region)"
