A bit weird, since it is on the 7th floor of the Sabah Mall, but separate lifts (one lift for rooms, another for mall) eased my mind. "Some furniture a little aged. Bathtub stopper doesn’t work. WiFi is the absolute worst of any 5star hotel I’ve ever been in. Keeps kicking u out every time you closed the phone. Have to relog in EVERY time you turn on the phone. Cell signals sucks so u are reliant on the wifi. But overall great value for such a large oceanfront suite. Location cannot be beat. "The Sabah Hotel is a lovely hotel. Our twin room on the 6th floor was perfect with comfortable firm beds and was clean and spacious. Note: importantly the room has a fridge which is not all that common at other Sandakan hotels. The Buffet Breakfast was very good, especially the egg station and food was plentiful. The pool is nicely set in a tropical environment, yet it feels quite open and is of varying depths. There is a good outdoor jacuzzi within the pool area, two slides for kids and a more...
