"The room was clean, the bed comfy.The room was not expensive. The staff did not seem friendly and the service was grudging. This is apart from the manager who was very friendly. The food at the bar was average, the chips were cold and hard. It is not possible to sit out by the pool as we hoped as the metal lounge chairs were old and covered in dirt and leaves. The few cushions were dirty and damp."

It is a basic human need but yeah, no water in the area during our 3 days there. It ruined the weekend but the staff could not do much. Carel’s deep knowledge and genuine passion for the wildlife greatly enhanced our game-viewing experience, and he did so in a thoughtful, unobtrusive way. Caitlyn’s organization and responsiveness were outstanding—truly a 10 out of 10. The rest of the staff were equally helpful and welcoming. The lodge was spotless, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals comfortably. "
