This was a very comfortable hotel. The room was very pleasant, clean (and warm! - important even in summer!).

We had an incredible stay! Our lodge was immaculately decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and wonderful views. The most magical part was the hot pot from where we were lucky enough to see the northern lights. Rósa was a perfect host and we’re looking forward to returning in the future :)

This is an incredible place to stay. It was problem the best lodge we've ever been to. It has stunning views across the fjord which can be enjoyed from the hot tub. It's really well equipped and was always a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you!

we only stayed here a night, checked in around 8.45pm, which is shame..we don't have chance to try the local food,have room in front of the sea, next to sauna and jacuzzi ... what else can i say... it was a bonus and was beyond awesome i love to come back one day and stay more then 2 nights

A really reasonably priced stay in a really lovely guest house. Breakfast included and the rooms and bathrooms spotless and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great location and excellent property

This is a newly decorated apartment block. The apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen and a great bathroom. Just 5 min walk from the centre of Akureyri. Parking is also provided opposite the apartment. Only downside was the view, because the only window was essentially at street level.

We loved the family atmosphere and hospitality. Clean rooms , nice and bright very comfortable beds , use of fridge and microwave . Loved the hot tub through a path in a wooded area , great even in the rain . Even a piano to play

The views and amenities for this place are amazing. The apartment had absolutely everything you could want. The host was very happy to show us around and made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was just the "icing on the cake" for us - many thanks. I have never slept in such a comfy bed!! I would highly recommend both apartment & location x

Our best stay yet. Room was lovely and very warm. I’m sure it would be great in winter but we were roasting. Beds were really comfy. Was great to have a bath too. Excellent choices for dinner. We had the Sel burger, the ribs and the chicken pasta. Delicious. Great breakfast, loads of options. They also have added extras like complimentary tea and coffee after dinner, two hot tubs and a paid laundry service. Mum loved the hot tubs and we used the laundry service. Easy and secure, parking right in front of the room. Super clean, we couldn't ask for more. 10/10

Great staff , family run, friendly and just really helpful. Have a car as alot cheaper than taxis and then you can always meet any trips at the bsi bus station which has free parking

We had an amazing stay at this hotel during our visit to Iceland. We stayed in their cottage, and everything about the experience was perfect from start to finish. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and a wonderful place to relax after a day of exploring. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more special. The location is also ideal - peaceful and perfectly situated for spotting the incredible Northern Lights....

Really great hotel, perfect spot to see the Aurora. A little out of the way and not close to any restaurants but that’s what makes it a good spot for the Aurora because of a lack of light pollution. The hotel restaurant is good.
