Excellent hotel, room and staff

Liked the interior design, layout and art installations. The whole complex felt very spacious and new. We also had a good view from our room, and the residence style facilities and supplies were all we could have expected and a little more. Staff were attentive and friendly, with very good English.

Was great experience to stay at Westin Rusutsu Resort. Perfect accommodation, and excellent service. Food is good at restaurant and massage was amazing.

Only stayed for a day in this hotel. The view from the hotel room is really beautiful. Staff are helpful and friendly, however I don't get the reservation system for the meals/restaurants in this hotel. As this hotel is kind of "isolated", you will probably have your dinner in one of their restaurants. When we arrived, we were told to make a choice which restaurant we would like to make a booking for (without being able to look at any sort of menus/prices) and they told us that it would be...

Very large hotel. Very helpful staff. On checkout day there had been heavy snow the nightmare whihc might have prevented me getting to the aiport. Staff were on top of situation and had already offered an extra night at a discounted rate if I was unable to depart as planned. In the end it wasnt needed but I was allowed to delay my check out time. Also helpful with sending diving gear ahead of check in

Good

Everything related to the hotel was ok, but the problem came when I did the check in, it looks like on the web site when I choose my kids age they were considered as kids since they have 15, 13 and 6 but when I did the check in at the hotel they disagree on this and they asked me to pay more money even when my reservation was full paid. The wors was when I contacted Expedia they told me that there's nothing they can do so I have to pay, so be careful when you select how many adults are going...

Great, good budget hotel, very spacious, fantastic value for money !

Loved it here very comfortable and awesome Onsens at partner hotel can be used too. Rusutsu is an easy 40 min drive in typical winter conditions.

What a lovely place! It’s basic but has everything you need - clean, fridge, a safe and kettle & green tea, The bed was so comfortable. On one of the floors, there’s two microwaves and a seating area. I used this and it was very clean. There is a small Onsen and laundry facilities (which I didn’t use). I did use the Onsen facilities in their sister hotel directly opposite - wonderful! Highly recommended.
