"Loved everything about the property in general. The resort itself is beautiful and the view from the oceanside is breathtaking (directly across from Moorea). We saw a school of dolphins playing the first morning we arrived. The infinity pool is also beautiful. Did not like the toilet in the bedroom. It was a strange oblong/rectangle shape, too high off the ground and extremely uncomfortable. There was a sink in the toilet room that was too tiny, and the towel ring was close to the floor and toilet. Quite odd and not super sanitary. Otherwise, the room itself was very spacious and clean. Nice little kitchenette, although it was advertised there would be a "full-size" refrigerator and it was only a mini fridge. Showerhead had a lot of mineral buildup and the water did not go down the drain very quickly, leading to a lot of pooling of water on the floor. Breakfast buffet was decent (included - not sure if I would pay extra because it is the same every single day). Lots of mosquitoes...bring bug spray and itch cream! 8.5/10 would recommend."

"Its an older hotel. But still well kept. Front desk staff very friendly. I like the quietness and the low-key of this hotel. Is not pretentious like the four seasons. Also it's location is better to be on the island instead of the atolls. Having a nice buffet breakfast is a plus"

"The place was incredible. Beauty of the nature, the quality of the service and the food was very diverse and quality. The chef who was making the omelets was super friendly and he was sharing his good energy right at the beginning of the day. The snorkeling directly from our room was breathtaking, I enjoyed every second of this hotel. My partner and I saw 2 rays, 1 shark and 1 baby turtle directly at our room which added some magic. Simply the best. I can’t compare to Bora Bora but definitely the best hotel I had in my life."

"Great place, great location (just in front of the ferry for Moorea) and awesome staff. They helped me booking a rental car and found me 35% OFF. One weekend night, it was a bit loud outside but it has to be expected since directly in Papeete. The noise wasn’t loud enough with the patio closed to keep us awake, we felt asleep easily. The roof bar is awesome, this hotel is one of the highlight in Papeete "

"The bungalow we stayed in was dreamy. Honestly a big plus for our honeymoon. The à-la-carte restaurant (they have 2) was also good, and the staff was friendly. Location was perfect, in close proximity to Matira beach, where the sunset is amazing, and just a short drive/ride to the main city if you ever feel like going to it."

"Perfect place for a wedding anniversary with spouse and two teens. We could stay in the overwater bungalow - guests needed to be 12+ (keeping it quiet in the area). Most bungalows allowed 2-3 guests but there are maybe 2-3 bungalows that allow 4 guests. This worked out perfectly for us, and we absolutely loved it. We met several honeymooners, and I think they all loved their stay too. This was the absolutely perfect place for us. It's important to know that you must take a ferry to leave the property - it's isolated. "

"The coral reefs in the lagoon are amazing. So much marine life to snorkel right outside your room. Prices for drinks and food are too high, compare to the quality. "

"The small details were what gave this resort an extra star: flowers, cold gardenia scented compresses at check-in, necklaces at check-out. Great location, smaller property so everything was close, beautiful grounds and pool, great foodb& drinks. Choice of beach vs over water villas. We loved it!"
