"Everything we needed was included in the price—breakfast and access to the swimming pool—which was a real plus. However, the family room, and indeed the hotel as a whole, felt rather tired and in need of an update. The breakfast itself was excellent, but the dining area would benefit greatly from new carpet and furniture. That said, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay."

"Only had a 1 night stay for a local event. Lovely place to stay in private grounds. The building was very nice although the room in the courtyard was slightly dated and basic but clean and comfortable. We took our dog with us and had an evening meal with friends (8 of us) and they gave us our own private room (a meeting room) which was great and perfect for all of us. Bar staff was very helpful and efficient. Would definitely go back if in the area again."
