"Room was large and comfortable. Only drawback was the number of flights of stairs necessary to get to it. Hotel was very convenient to get to the Mall and it was on a road that transport could drive up to the front door which is often not the case with other hotels in Darjeeling."

"Service, location, friendly accommodating staff made us feel like home. Kanchanjungha views from hotel view point.. outside some rooms, dining hall, outside reception.. everywhere. Gave some suggestions and feed back to the general manager who was very appreciative of the constructive feed back. Passion of the staff to serve customers is unparalleled and trickles down from the leadership of Debarya, who seems to talk about the resort like it's his baby. "Sinclares Resort is such a gem! The entire property is meticulously maintained and nicely decorated with beautiful landscaping. The premium room is spacious and bedding is clean and comfortable. They provide you with a heater during winter time so the room is plenty warm. The best part is the hot shower which is so much better compared to other equally expensive hotels we stayed across India. You can take a really comfortable shower without worrying about the hot water running out in the middle...
