This was the second time we stayed at Hotel Cotto do Gatto. It is truly a pet-friendly hotel where dogs are allowed in the breakfast area, restaurant, and pool area. My dog enjoyed sniffing around and making new dog friends. I especially loved the pool and good water pressure in the shower. The staff members were also very lovely and friendly.

Our 3 nights stay here was incredible. The owner is open and friendly, warm and welcoming. The room is immaculate, with attention to detail and a complimentary bottle of Vinho Verde. The pool is well situated, clean and warm in the evening. The breakfast is a fantastic spread of traditional and contemporary foods (their daily cake is to die for!). We look forward to staying with you again in the near future!

Perfect - Didnt want to come home. Beautiful Views, Great Food, Homely Accommodation, Excellent Facilities, Locality to jaw dropping landmarks and nature trails and most importanty Amazing Staff. Best Holiday Experience I've ever had. We will be back.

Lovely building in a wonderful garden. Exceeded expectations in every way. Tasty breakfast, with friendly staff who looked after us. Plenty of car parking onsite.

Great Hotel in a peaceful area. Only problem was a slow wifi

The staff was friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible time at the hotel. We had a small terrace with a view up on the mountain which was really nice and relaxing. The village the hotel is located in is a very nice a beautiful place. Breakfast and WiFi was free, though the WiFi didn't work in our room, the hotel has a nice lounge we used while needing the internet. Lovely comfortable stay. Although the weather was not great, we were warm and comfortable in a lovely T2 house with modern, tasteful interior. Communication from host was excellent. Our dog loved it too. Highly recommended.

The view and location of this hotel is beyond imagination — everything is beautiful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Most importantly, the staff is lovely and so so friendly. We have been here before and we will definitely come back again.

The room was modern and spotless, the views were beautiful, the breakfast was plentiful. Beatriz was an absolute angel, from making reservations at recommended restaurants, to organising taxis, she often checked in on us to see if we needed anything. What a wonderful find, I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you!
