But i did encounter tons of bats flying over pool in last night which scared the life of of me. Needless to say i cut my swim short. "The hotel boasts a distinctive design, with each reservation being allocated a bubble-shaped living space. The views during both sunrise and sunset are truly captivating. However, there are much needed areas for improvement. "Staff were very freindly and at hand when needed. It was a nice quite location to begin our trip away from the chaos one has come to expect in Bali. The view from the room and dining room into the lush forest was very peacefully. Breakfast was good, however evening meals were very average. So much so, we decide to take the taxis in to ubud (about 30 minutes away) for dinner for the last 3 nights of our stay. Food and drinks are over priced for the quality, compared to the local area.it Bed...

"This is the most amazing hotel I’ve ever been to. With the exception of the pool. They have a great opportunity to redo the pool as an outdoor cliffside pool with amazing views. They missed the boat on that one. But the rest of the property is 10 out of 5 stars. Absolutely beautiful. Caution: for elderly that don’t like stairs. There are lots of stairs."

"The villas are incredibly well made, and everything is just so easy to organise! The area around the villas is what I had pictured when I thought of “original ubud” which is what our driver said about the area. The street is quiet - no traffic- and an ebike tour was the most traffic we saw the whole time. It was close to all the great sites - heaps of waterfalls around, goa gajah, the water temple, the rice fields. A great place to base yourself out of, however you might never want to leave...

"Great view from bedroom facing Mt. Batur, can easily setup timelapse to catch sunrise. Good location for pickup if you are planning a Mt. Batur sunrise trek tour, pick up at 3:15am and 20min drive to start of hike (compared with pickup 1am from Ubud). Owner of hotel is a nice uncle, chill with me flying drone on his property for some great shots of the caldera rim. A cosy bed and breakfast with a great view and near some caldera rim restaurants. Would visit again!"
