"Able to eat outside, I felt at home with the ‘60-70 decor. Felt very safe in the area. Wonderful sand with a Safe beach and able to swim safely in the ocean. Really enjoyed FunkyD singing in the evening.close walk to a bus to go downtown $1:50! Or catch a taxi at front of resort. Although, every driver charges their own rate??offer a price that you are willing to pay before getting in cab? Older crowd at this resort while we were there which was nice as I am a senior . Beach music a bit too loud...

"The fact that our initial room was completely different than pictured was just a start. We have used HomeAway many, many times with “exceeded expectation” results but this one was a let down. On top of it all, the hotel manager and assistant manager were... let’s just go with “less than pleasant.” I’m stopping here because I could go on and on about things that were overly misrepresented on this particular outfit. "Overall great experience! The staff are the shining star of this property! From checking in to out and in between, we really liked the service! The resort is more on the quaint side, but my wife and I prefer that to behemoth, Atlantis across the street. The two is getting a bit long in the tooth and certainly the rooms could use a refresh. On the flip side, the location, staff, and food overcomes the aged bedding, etc. "
