"Wonderful setting, wonderful staff, attentive staff. Richly enjoyed the stay!"

"This place is not a backpackers hostel. Its in the middle of nowhere. 50min walk along muddy roads to town. I received 1 meal (excluding black coffee and plain bread for breakfast) in 4 days. As soon as they realise you are not buying a tour, they don't care. No toilet paper, soap. Nobody spoke English to ask anything."

"service and staff were excellent. the rooms are somewhat dated and a number of the window screens didn't fit tightly which was a concern given mosquitoes although there is netting over the bed. "

Everything about the Neptune property was first rate from the furnishings to the food to the convenience and the staff. Yes, the price point was higher than we normally spend but truly if you get what you pay for, the price seems justified. At Neptune we received what we paid for and then some!"
