"I overlooked the mattress that had a large worn spot, and the stained sheets w/ hair. I was in New Orleans for Jazzfest, how bad could it be? I booked a corner view room so we could take in the sights. The blinds on one window only opened halfway. Still didn't complain. It was the non-functional toilet that triggered my first call. They tried to fix it and were still in progress when we left for the night. We came back later but the toilet handle wasn't connected to anything. After another failed attempt to fix it, we downgraded to another room. This room was better but the glass shower door lower hinge was separated from the wall. I unplugged the coffee maker and half the electrical outlet came out of the wall. There were other issues. The hotel offered a one-night credit, for the cheapest night, of course. How can you charge for a "city view" room when the blinds don't work? Too bad I can't attach my pictures."

"Room was clean and bed was comfortable, however there is a coffee machine in the room but we were only ever provided with one coffee pod between the two of us for our 4 night stay. This was never replenished which I find very poor for a hotel of this standard. I tried contacting their digital concierge “Watson” and never got a response. I tried calling the front desk and got no answer. Also the used disposable coffee cups we used on our first morning were never replaced or removed by house keeping. We went to use the gym and found that it is very small and limited. The hotel advertises peloton bikes but does not provide guests with a log in so if you don’t have one you can’t use them, this seems ridiculous. We didn’t use the gym in the end as it was busy (there were around 5 people in there) and we couldn’t get to use anything (except the peloton bikes which clearly no one can use). I am from the uk so my expectations may be different to those of Americans but I would expect to be able to make a coffee each morning in my room when staying in a decent hotel. I was disappointed with aspects of this hotel, the in room amenities not being replenished and the gym were still particularly poor. We ate breakfast at the hotel on one day and I had some poached eggs which were very very underdone. They did make some more but I feel things like this are basic for a decent quality hotel. "

"Great experience and easy access to most locations around the area. The staff was very friendly and check-in was effortless. The only slight minus was housekeeping visited every other day and we had to repeatedly request extra towels. Also, the dining for breakfast was great and there were tasty cookies at the check-in reception counter on one evening during our visit."
