"Just a quick day trip to get out of the city and be close to the beach. In a decent area with walking distance stores and restaurants. Had people outside partying in front of my door, called to the front office to notify them and they addressed and took care of the situation right away. Thank you so much for that! "

"I stayed here for two nights. The pros: - The room was clean. - The staff were friendly. - Melanie was able to accommodate me with an early check in. (1:30pm) - Location was great as it was close to where I needed to be and also not too far from San Diego. The cons: - no hair dryer in the room. I called the front desk on each day and they mentioned they would need to find one but unfortunately after 2 nights I still did not receive a hair dryer - the lobby area and walkways have shown its age. You can see the wear and tear on the structures and there’s certain unpleasant smells in certain areas of the hotel. - nitpicking but breakfast was simply granola bars and packaged muffins That being said, you get what you pay for and I wasn’t expecting the hotel to be perfect. The cons did not ruin the experience of traveling to San Diego/San Marcos for me. I enjoyed my stay which is why this still deserves 5 stars. "
