"The room was very clean and comfortable, the the staff there were very respectful and friendly especially "BRI" that works 3-11 also the breakfast there was amazing. Also there were nearby restaurants and the area was convenient, the tv was easy to use Netflix friendly, but the only thing I'd have to nitpick about is the shower water did not stay hot long enough but to the average person it'll be good enough."
"We enjoyed our stay at Spring House Inn. It reminded us of staying in a state park lodge. It is on a large property with a creek, lots of trees, plenty of parking.
Our room was large, clean, and quiet. Breakfast offerings included eggs, sausage, waffles, and yogurt. The hotel is very convenient for a visit to near-by Indiana Dunes National Park (visitor center is about a 6 minute drive). We would stay again.
In terms of feeling safe and nearness to the park, the surrounding area is great. It is very residential. There is a pizza restaurant next door. No other shops or businesses in the surrounding blocks. "
