"Our accommodation was in a block beside the castle. The window was painted shut, beds were poor, a long walk to toilets and showers and no facilities in the room. The restaurant was closed. I'm ex military and have seen better army barracks."

"Great hotel in the heart of the town. The food is excellent, staff warm and friendly, and the parking gated and secure. We love this part of Wales and always try to stay here if vsiting."

"The staff were lovely, easy to talk to and welcoming. Clean comfortable spacious room. Lovely historic building with guest information book in the room explaining the area and its history. Marvelous breakfast choices. If something needed changing the staff responded perfectly. Didn't have time to use the gym/pool but other guests seemed happy. Look forward to the opportunity to return. "
