"Our stay at the Doubletree in Durango was very nice. Our room had a view of the river and was spacious. Most of the staff was very pleasant and helpful. We took advantage of the restaurant one morning before our trip to Ouray. They made us to-go breakfast sandwiches on biscuits that were delicious. "The check in is off putting with the sales pitch about attending a presentation about purchasing one of the properties. Gym is nice and open 24hrs. Lots of hot tubs around the property. Condo was nice. Great fridge and stocked with utensils and such to prepare food if desired. Washer and dryer in the unit. Coffee pot takes ground coffee and they provide a couple filters. They only provided one serving of regular coffee for a two night stay which was strange. Comfortable bed, nice sitting...

"When the ski area shut down so did all the amenities like restaurants and bars, room service and this was not made known to customers staying "
