"This hotel is older but well kept. The Indian restaurant is wonderful and the bar/grill nice also. The best thing is the proximity to the Steadman Clinic and the Vail hospital. We were there for surgery and the location (literally right next door) made it so much easier. An easy walk to Lionshead also. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at the Sonnenalp! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. We really appreciated the complimentary SUV service, which made getting around Vail so easy. Huge shout-out to Russell—he went above and beyond with recommendations and genuine hospitality. The location can’t be beat—just a 5-minute walk to the gondola—and the ski valet at Gorsuch made skiing with kids effortless. The holiday activities were a blast! Bully Ranch and the breakfast buffet were both excellent. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year! "
