"The Outrider hotel was a great stay!! All of the staff were amazing and also helpful with any questions we had about the area. The rooms were very modern and clean. Including a nice tea pot in room and coffee in the lobby for the morning!! The sauna/cold plunge along with the hot tub were all in new condition and were very convenient after a long day. The fire pit area was relaxing as well. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a luxury and welcoming stay!!"

"I was surprised by this property after reading that it had great reviews. I arrived to find that the carpets were very dirty, there are no elevators to assist people who cannot use stairs, the breakfast ends earlier than most hotels, and while the site says they offer a shuttle to the Colorado Springs hotel, they do not. The room was very dated, which made the bathroom seem unclean. The coffee maker was placed in an area where no plug was available. The lobby of the hotel looks kind of lodge-cool, but other than that, I found no value or attraction to staying at this location again."

"If you want an accommodation that is unique, quiet, and a little off the beaten path, this castle is for you! The castle and grounds are beautiful and there is plenty of hiking to do in the area. Rooms are clean and updated while still maintaining its history. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good! Highly recommend"

"The room was fine, TV was outdated and slow. If you plan on walking to nearby locations this hotel is not good for walkability, busy roadways and shifty characters. The bed was uncomfortable despite driving for 14 hours I couldn't fall asleep. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The pool was closed, the "fitness center" was 2 treadmills and a broken machine. I was very disappointed by this stay. Be sure to read the negative reviews off Expedia before booking. Waste of money, left after one night."
