"The room was beautiful and spotless, the food was divine, and all of the public spaces (restaurants, gym, pool, etc) were stunning and exceptionally well-maintained. These things we anticipated — the level of attention that every staff member paid to all guests went beyond any expectation we could have had. Thank you especially to Bevan at check-in! "

"The breakfast was great, maybe slightly overpriced compared to others I've experienced across SL. Staff were friendly, room was clean, but very noisy. Struggled to sleep most evenings in a room fronting the main road. Pool area is nice, only 6 sunbeds though. Gym is well equipped but very little room to move about. Nice cafe downstairs and good wifi"

"At check-in, we were told our room was not ready even though we arrived 2 hrs after check in time, when I questioned why that was the case for a “5 star” hotel, they miraculously found another room available to give us, figure that! There were plenty of friendly staff, but they were not attentive. We had dinner in the Indian restaurant - good quality and nice food. Overall, I would say “faded glory” in style and character - may not stay again here."

"Housekeeping was awful. Took the towels and didn't replace them. Didn't come to replace after I rang to request a towel. Also didn't regularly replace water bottles Wifi in room was slow and kept dropping Not up to 5-star standard (or even homestay standard for housekeeping or service). Would not stay again."
