Lovely staff, very close to the M1. Perfect for an early start at East Midlands Airport

Location is approximate to the east Midlands airport..

Rooms are very comfortable and clean some areas could with a bit of a paint. But rooms are quiet and comfortable.

Lovely little hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, nice big bed and room for a very reasonable price!

Although the room wasn't what we'd booked as this is an error on Expedia's part the manager went out of his way and offered us a 2nd room at no extra cost. Highly impressed with the service

It was mine and a friend's first night out as new mum's, requested a nice shower. We got a nice shower and more, the room was lovely, huge TV, comfy beds and great air con. Free drink upon check in and the breakfast was great. Lovely seating area and lots of choice for food. Had a lovely time.

We booked this hotel due to its location to Donington Circuit. The location was perfect, the circuit being about 10 minutes drive away (maximum). The owners were lovely and very friendly, Beverley helped us find somewhere to eat on a Sunday when everywhere else was closed or had finished serving. Although the hotel is on the main road, the small town of Melbourne is quiet and the road isn't busy - even on a bank holiday weekend. There are a number of places to eat nearby including a lovely...

Great hotel, the rooms were fantastic and I would happily stay again.

Really nice modern hotel. My room was spotlessly clean and the staff on reception were friendly and helpful. The bar area and restaurant looked nice and was really busy, although I didn’t get chance to use them. Only thing I was disappointed with was that the room has no window, just a skylight in the roof. I don’t remember seeing a mention of this when I booked it (unless I missed it). Would definitely stay again without hesitation.

Nice hotel, nice friendly staff....breakfast was plentiful & good. A couple of things.. The room was cold & the electric heater was manually adjustable took quite a while to heat the room up. Another thing we had twin beds...my single mattress was terrible....soon at you ley on it it squashed to half its size & made a terrible noise like all the springs were coming apart...& I'm not a heavy person....other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel.

After check in we explained as we needed to be up well before our free breakfast started we wouldn't be having it.To which the lovely girl on check in said as she would still be on duty she would have bread ready for toast and croissants warmed up for us.True to her word when we came down very early in morning it was set up for us as well as coffee and juice excellent service would definately stay overnight again if we have an early flight .Was flying from East Midlands was right on airport

Was in Leicester for my daughter’s graduation, the bed was very comfortable, my wife snored happily all night. The breakfast was great, it set us up for the day. If I need to stay in Leicester again, I’ll be staying here.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and we had no problems taking the dog with us

Lovely stay, cottage room was outstanding as was the setting and main hotel. Nice beer in the bar and superb breakfast
