"I was made to feel very welcome, the room was lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The area is very quiet and peaceful with an excellent view from the first floor. I couldn’t fault anything "

"We had a lovely couple of nights at this beautiful hotel. Our room wasn’t ready until 4.50 pm which was a bit disheartening after a 3 hour drive and it was disappointing we were just offered a cup of tea and a sit in the lounge. This could have been handled better . The food was delicious, it was very quiet and beautiful lounges a shame there wasn’t anything to encourage guests to stay downstairs after dinner. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. "
