"cleanliness was excellent. I stayed in a room without a window. There was a window high in the ceiling that was covered and you could not open it. I found it odd to stay in a room without a window visible. Next time I will make a request to have a window I can see out of."

"Came for a weekend for my wife’s birthday. Everything from the moment we stepped in was excellent. The attention to detail from the staff is superb. And the check this in when we arrived and the next day we had Jen and both were tremendous. They gave us a little bottle of Prosecco when we arrived and everything we needed was taken care of prior. The property itself is beautiful, very manicured and it’s a walking distance to the town. I will definitely be coming back here and recommended to others."

"We stayed here for one night to break up a long drive, and overall it was a decent experience. The property itself is beautiful, with lots of plants and gardens, and it looks like the host is continually improving and adding to the space. The room was clean and comfortable once we got settled. When we arrived, it appeared the room hadn’t been cleaned yet, but after reaching out to Steven, he responded immediately and had his housekeeper come take care of it right away. Check-in and check-out were both easy and straightforward. The kitchen area was fully stocked, which was a nice convenience. Steven was also very welcoming and even invited guests to help themselves to the strawberries that were ripening on the property. A few things kept this from being a higher-rated stay. Around the property, there were beer cans, work materials, and even a couple of dead mice, which took away from the otherwise beautiful setting. It was also extremely hot when we checked in. There was a window air conditioning unit, but it didn’t really cool the room down until the middle of the night. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for travelers looking for an affordable place to stop for the night."
