"In an attempt to make the hotel more popular, it seems the owners re-designed the exterior, the attached shops (Zephyr Walk) and the lobby to make it cool and modern, without maintaining the rooms at all. There is a surprise resort fee, which apparently can range from $30 a night to $45 a night - to cover “amenities”. I’ve stayed at, at least a half dozen other hotels that don’t charge $35 a night per room to light a couple fire pits. Just work it into the room price and stop surprising people. As soon as we checked in, we grabbed our bags and headed to our room, only to immediately get kicked out by housekeeping. They were in our room and just kept saying “just a minute” while we stood in the hallway with our luggage. Considering the hotel also does not allow you to use the bathroom in the lobby until you check in, and we had just driven for 3 hours, we were very uncomfortable. There were strange outlets cut into the side of the nightstand that didn’t seem safe. "

"My daughter and I stayed here for three nights and we couldn't be happier. The room was exceptionally clean and fresh every day, which we really appreciated. The location was the best part—we were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see, making our trip so easy and stress-free. We’re very satisfied and would definitely stay here again!"

"Everything you need here- Market for coffee, sandwiches, drinks. A bar for wine, beer, and spirits. Pool, fitness, free breakfast. Clean rooms, great staff, and perfect location."

"The lobby smelled of urine. The person checking us in did not want to help us. He was absolutely not helpful when we inquired about our diamond elite status and kept saying “water, that’s all you get.” Even though the app showed differently. We tried to ask him about parking later that evening and he waved his arms in circles to show “all of it” even after we walked away. The room was clean but the shower needed a good scrub. For the price we paid, we expected some sort of friendliness. But it is what it is and I know this is a hotel to never rebook."

"Room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located is walkable distance to many attractions. Bus stop to Golden gate is just around the corner. The cable car starting point is also walkable. Lots of restaurants nearby. Price was reasonable. Coffee maker was great in the room. Would love to stay here again when we comeback to San Francisco."
