"I'm not faulting the hotel since it's due to location, but just know the surrounding residents are not in their best phase of life. The staff is really kind. Check-in was easy. Location is convenient for whichever part of LA County you need to hit. There are many arterial streets in this area of town. The room is equipped with essentials and remodeled well. The only gripe I had is with the mild odor. It's tolerable, but you can tell the "old" smells of the building are trying to fight renovation. I brought my own spray to nullify it. Otherwise, for the quick and sudden stay I needed, it was better than expected. "

While I would personally rate it closer to a three-star experience in terms of comfort and amenities, it offered everything I needed for a simple and convenient stay. One of the biggest positives for me is that it’s pet-friendly, which makes traveling so much easier and more enjoyable. The staff was accommodating, and the overall experience was smooth. One thing I would gently note for future guests is to stay aware of your surroundings. Some of the other guests gave me a bit of an uneasy feeling at times, especially at night. As a precaution, I chose not to walk my puppy alone after dark and made sure my partner was with me. It’s not meant to be negative—just a friendly reminder to be cautious and mindful, as you would in any unfamiliar place. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, no-frills place that welcomes pets, this is a solid option."

"The place is in a good location and I like the bidet in the restroom. However, the only downside to my stay was the small cockroach I saw on the floor on my last day. The cleaner was also unfriendly when I asked for a new towel. She seemed irritated and told me that she had already given our room two towels and she turned around. The front desk people are friendly though. I don't think that I will stay in Redac again in the near future. "

"First, I’d like to start with the staff. They are very welcoming and very nice and helpful. The second thing is my room did not have a properly functioning refrigerator nor television. I lost some food because of the fridge issue. The TV had a blue screen, making it hard to see, and the remote was broken."

"Fast check-in with friendly staff, room clean BUT very uncomfortable at night when AC unit not working properly on a day/night that was hot & humid in Southern California. Set the unit at 67 degrees instead of the normal 70 degrees when I went to bed at midnight. Room did not cool off stayed warm at 78 degrees which got me no sleep! Recommend checking AC unit when you walk in your room."
