"This hotel is well situated in Ortigia and is in a lovely old building. We enjoyed the staff, the bar and the breakfast. However we were misled by our room booking on Expedia. We expect d a room with a view of a mediterranean garden. We got a room facing an inner area- the light well - which afforded very little natural light in the room.band faced another bedroomโs window. The room was very small, with the shower in a closet area, and the toilet in a room on the other side of the bedroom. We asked to move but there was nothing available or offered for the two nights we stayed. All for $480/night. I expected more and would recommend that you book this hotel with caution if you value nice accommodation."

"I have only good things to say about this hotel! The location is perfect, the hotel room was everything you want and the staff are amazing. Giulia and Paula helped us so much and were absolutely charming! And the breakfast cakes were homemade and delicious! This is a very special hotel!"

"I loved everything about this old convent converted to hotel : the staff was super friendly and welcoming, the view over the water was wow. It was clean, a short walk to the sites and the breakfast was good. The only thing was it felt remote at night when walking alone qith my 19 year old daughter but it's close to a police station so I felt better once I saw that! Definitely recommend. A little note, no elevator so pack light but staff helped us with bags."
