This haveli with its beautiful garden makes a perfect base to explore Jaipur. There is a roof top terrace where you can sit and read and there is the added bonus of excellent Wi-Fi and you are able to receive Western News channels through the television. The staff are friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere of the hotel is of relaxed friendliness. There is also the added bonus of an excellent cafe within the hotel which serves vegetarian food at a very reasonable cost.

We loved staying at the Umaid Mahal. It has an Indian charm and most helpful staff. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop terrace for drinks and dinner. Local music and dancers added a pleasant atmosphere. It was simple to get taxis and transport from the hotel to anywhere. Air conditioned rooms were clean, spacious and had a great shower in the bathroom. To be recommended as a good spot from which to explore Jaipur. Do note that the hotel is not actually in walking distance of...

Everything about our 4 night stay was perfect. From our train station pick-up (even though our train was 6 hours late), the room, the food and organising a trip to the Amber Fort and Monkey Temple they couldn't have been more helpful. I've been to India a few times and this is one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had here. I was travelling with my wife and teenage daughter and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. It looks amazing from the outside and is full of little...

Excellent stay at this traditional Indian guest house. Rooms were quiet, cool and comfortable and they have a very nice roof terrace overlooking Jaipur’s rooftops and up towards the Tiger Fort. They serve ice cold beer on the terrace which is very welcome as not many places in Jaipur sell alcohol. The set menu dinner they offer is very tasty as is the breakfast (the latter is included in the room cost). They also have relationships with two auto rickshaw drivers, Rahul and Sonnu, who are very...

I stayed in a room with two other people. For the price that we paid, it was a great experience with nice accommodations (pool, tv, breakfast). The staff was friendly and super helpful when we needed assistance. The location was a little far from the places we wanted to visit, but that wasn't a problem.

Absolutely lovely hotel, a quiet place of tranquility but so close to the wonderful chaos of Tramel.
The staff are so lovely and the breakfast is incredible. I stay in hotels for 90 plus nights a year all over the world and this is my favourite hotel now by a very large margin!
