"Friendly staff greeted us and available 24 hours. Very nice people.
The room and beds were comfortable but the bathroom had a lot of black mould that needs bleaching/removal. I also had to clean the toilet properly before using.
Fantastic location for the street art trail, food, the jetty and public transport links.

"This hotel is in the best location for exploring the old city of George Town. Close to lots of restaurants and sites.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. "
"We loved our stay at this hotel. Very walkable area, restaurants and bars are very close.
Loved the rooftop bar across the road.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the pool was lovely and refreshing. Such a historical, classic hotel."
"Charged us for a deluxe room and gave us a room 2/3 the size no curtains, no room safe, noisy and not cleaned properly - still half full drink bottles from previous tenant.
Several years ago it was well run, not any more. L"
"Staff are helpful and friendly and close to the attraction. Lots of restaurant is nearby.
Something can be improved, the WIFI some sometimes is not working when in the room and no USB plugin on the bedside.
The experience is excellent and the breakfast at the restaurant is delicious

"Excellent resort with great food and beverage options. Beach access is convenient, dinner by the beach is great place at Gustoso restaurant. Rooms are spacious. Pool are in excellent coniditons and right size. "
"A stunning property. From the high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and antiques to the rooftop pool. A small and intimate hotel with lovely staff. Tucked down a small roadway, it's right in the heart of the action and secluded at the same time. Great location! When arriving by ferry, it isn't very far to walk on the map, however, the traffic and crowded sidewalks would make the wheelie bag treck very hard in the heat. We decided on a taxi. Taxi driver told us it's a standard 20 for any trip. There is a free bus you can take from the ferry (CAT bus) which does a loop of the city and stops at stop 7, one short block from the hotel. Beware it gets very crowded. If you have data, of course use Grab. 24 hr convenience store close on the main road. As with most in Asia, the bed is extremely firm. "
