"Historic hotel in the middle of Georgetown with plenty of dining and drinking options nearby, walkable to most of the historic spots on the island. Highly recommended if you want to experience living the tradition Penang culture. Excellent restaurant serving Peranakan food as well "
"Fantastic location, close to bars and restaurants. Room was a good size for the area and clean when we arrived, but didn't have any change of towels or cleaning in the 7 nights we stayed."
"This hotel is in the best location for exploring the old city of George Town. Close to lots of restaurants and sites.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. "
"What a beautiful property and experience. The reception desk particularly Sufian were incredibly helpful giving us recommendations to eat and see. The room was amazing and facilities were great. However what let this hotel down was the neighbouring clubs that played loud music till 1am and till 3am in the weekend. I hope the local government will help the local hotels as these 2 clubs impact all the hotels in the vicinity not just Muntri Grove. "
"Miss Yang at the front desk is very kind and helpful. The location is within easy access to everything, there are a great variety of food options around."

"Friendly staff greeted us and available 24 hours. Very nice people.
The room and beds were comfortable but the bathroom had a lot of black mould that needs bleaching/removal. I also had to clean the toilet properly before using.
Fantastic location for the street art trail, food, the jetty and public transport links.
"
"I liked the room, service and location.
The bathroom though is annoyingly a wet room, so after showering tge whoke BR is a mess, and with only one faucet in the sink"
"Area is accessible to historic sites, shops and local eating joints. Wasn't aware that the sound of morning prayers from the nearby mosque was that loud."
