You get what you pay for. The rates for this location are great, so how bad could it be? Well, the food wasn't good at all. I'm not comparing it to restaurants in the area, I'm comparing to other hotel "free breakfasts." The people working there were wonderful, but the food was not good. Some food was only partially cooked and the selection was poor. We opted to find quick bites locally.

This property is in a beautiful, safe part of chicago. Most tourist attractions are close enough to walk or take the subway. The staff are so helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Nice clean and spacious room. Front desk Staff was nice. Location is fine. Didn’t not realize this was opposite to a fire station. That caused little inconvenience due to the loud sirens. Breakfast was fine. The placement of the bagel section and the toaster should be reconsidered. That area was very crowded. Few of the TV channels did not work as the subscription had expired. Overall a good experience at this hotel.

The hotel itself is in a great location for walking to most of the Chicago sightseeing attractions. The staff is among the best I’ve encountered at a hotel. The breakfast staff especially. Fannie & Javier at the breakfast area are particularly friendly!

Perfect location for exploring the downtown area. Room was comfortable. Some points to improve upon: - Chair in the room was quite old. - When the room is booked for 3 people it would be useful to have the coffee making material in the room for as many people instead of just 2.

Need better signs for parking/valet. We couldn't figure out where to temporarily park to check in and find out where parking was. The alley between the 2 hotels where the valet is at is only marked for the Aloft. We ended up just pulling in there and then felt like we had to pay for valet since we were already there and had no where else to go to unload our car with 3 little children.
