Really nice condo at the Astra, a well located condo building in Chiang Mai. Attractively decorated without too many tchotchkes. Bed was comfortable and linens good. Owner quickly resolved one issue (remote for AC units was broken) and was friendly and very polite.

Clean condo in good location.

Great condo with separate living room. The room also had a washing machine. Very clean. Great location with a lot of parking space. We will comme again when we go back to Chiang Mai. We also recommend the beef noodle place in front of condo.

The condo was conveniently located, had everything we needed for a weeks stay my only gripes are that it didn’t seem to have been cleaned very well, there were long dark hairs all over the lounge and some rubbish left from the last person aside from that the beds are comfy and there’s a great coffee shop in the reception, pool has a great view too!

The room was a bit outdated and in worse shape than it was on the photos. Other than that we had a really nice time in the condo. All of our small issues (forgetting our card in our room, extending our stay) we could easily communicate with the host through WhatsApp who quickly organized help for us within his team. The pool is very nice, though the sauna of the building is also a little bit out of shape. All in all I could only recommend this condo.

Flat was okay....ish. Quiet at night, but decoration poor (ripped wallpaper etc.) Kitchen very badly equipped, no dining knives at all, just a paring knife which was too blunt to cut much, water boiling jug thing which worked badly, so I resorted to boiling water in a pan for drinks. Random selection of crockery, towels very thin and worn, pillows unpleasantly stained, to the point where I could not bear to use them, internet did not work for most of my stay, mysteriously coming back on on the last night. The owner needs to take a good look round their property and fix these things. New towels and pillows at the very least, with pillow protectors under the pillow cases, and a decent kettle. I have stayed in the Astra Condo building twice before, and the other flats were much better for the same price.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The property is awful and not clean; I booked 4 nights originally and I checked out after the first night due to the condition of the place. I then paid for another 3 nights at a better hotel. I’m currently waiting for Expedia to get back to me re my complaint on this property. Note the Astra Code is privately managed and therefore, other listed condos may be better (I’m saying this because I have stayed at the Astra Condo before) which was managed by another person and that property was perfectly fine. AVOID THIS CONDO.
