It was an ideal location with friendly travelers to socialize with. The owners went out of their way to help and ensure a happy and comfortable stay. The home cooked food was delicious and priced well.
Very nice stay in a centrally located hotel. The owners are very nice. Bed was comfortable and local restaurants are great. Walkable to most locations.
Truly amazing guest house, great location. Room is on the small side but had great AC and fridge. Patrick and Lyn were extremely nice and helpful. Patrick makes a great espresso in the mornings. In an amazing area and they will help you book anything through them. If there was one complaint it would be the bed was tough but that is all. Will be staying here again in the future.
Merci Patrick, Thanks for your help Lyn ....
Soisabai Guesthouse stay was typical for a guesthouse. Place may be somewhat problematic for those that are less than liberal in their sensitivities since this is located in an area with an active nightlife scene. There may be issues if you select a room without air conditioning and adjacent to the road as the area is quite noisy. Request a room on a lower floor if you have bad knees or tall as the stair well is quite steep and cramped.
This was a great guesthouse with clean rooms, good accommodations, and helpful folks. It is extremely close to the old city, which is great for shopping, culture, multiple night markets, and easy access to transportation to further away attractions.

Guesthouse okay
Very basic. Wifi does not work, no hot water and lots of stairs with no help. Curtains were rags without exaggeration. No fire escape. Owner refused to call cab, had to flag one down. Really disappointed in this place.

tres bonne guest house
Patrick and Lyn are wonderful hosts who create a relaxing and welcoming guesthouse in an area to all Chaing Mai offerings. Because it is on a side street there is little noise. The bed was comfortable, service was great, and everything worked well. Great find for the cost.

helt fint
Værterne var imødekommende og venlige. Værelset var ok til prisen. Rent men lidt slidt. Alt i alt en god oplevelse.

Somewhat satisfied with a room but service is poor
Overall I was satisfied with this guesthouse for the low price.
"Room" - Somewhat good
Rooms are equipped with as shown in the photograph in this web page.
There is a minimum items in guest house. I am satisfied.
1. Water in the fridge was free and the wireless LAN was free. It was very happy.
2. The bed, toilet, and the room was totally clean.
3. The shower wasn't hot but not cold. It was regrettable.
4. There was Air-conditioning machine. But it did not work. Air-conditioning machine was unnecessary because it was cool in the night of February Chiang Mai.
5. Screen door did't fit the window, so the mosquito comes in.That's why you should apply medicine to your body when you sleep.
"Service" - bad.
1. 1F is the check-in counter and restaurant. There wasn't the personnel at the check-in counter. The personnel was on the seat of restaurant.
2. I booked the room and paid to guesthouse in "Hotel's.com". But the personnel claimed the accommodation price to me. the personnel was convinced by a printed email from "Hotel's.com".
"Location" - Very good
This guest house is close to Chiang Mai Downtown, the night market, and massage parlor. The location is good.
Thank you for your reading my bad English.

cheap and cheerful
cute little guest house run by a lovely couple with a cute dog - beds are a little springy but can't really complain for the price ! good location off a busy street south of the old city
First, let us say that Patrick and Lyn have an extremely loyal following of regulars. The couple are very hard working and nice people. There is absolutely no problem with them but the building and furnishings are older and have regular maintenance needs which are promptly fixed. The room we had was very small and we needed more room for doing some work on our computer so that is why we changed hotels.
This is the least money we've paid anywhere and the cost is fair and good for long term stays and tight budgets.
We were very tired trying to figure out a place to stay via the internet and finally just picked one to try out, however, I'm not exactly certain how we ended-up booking here.
The neighborhood is just off the main red-light street that is perfectly safe, quiet and a short walk to all the Wats we wished to visit. As a husband and wife we felt the "working women" were really very decent people and had no problem with the location.
If you want to experience the 'street-feel' version of Chiang Mai, you're in the right neighbourhood. This area is supposedly 'red-light', but it's a very friendly version, with a few bars up in the main street, but the guesthouse is down a quiet laneway, so there's no problem with noise. The rooms are not fancy but cosy and clean, and the great drawcard is the incredible hospitality from your hosts Patrique and his wife Lynn. Lovelier people you will not find, and they have formed a friendly little family in their Inn, with everything you could possibly want plus more. It's so charming to be there, one feels as if one is in an episode of 'Allo 'Allo, with a cast of odd travellers and permanent guests peopling the scene. You WON'T be bored!
And the beautiful Ya...the friendliest assistant in the world...listen out to hear her singing in the morning...say Hi to her ...love from Australia to you Patrique, Lynn and Ya...!
