Pastell is a perfect hotel if you are staying in Chiang Mai for a few days. It is out of the main busy areas so it is more quiet, if that is important to you as it was for us. The coffee and breakfast are complimentary and excellent quality. The staff is kind and accommodating.

The hotel is lovely and simple, with very good service. However, perhaps because our room was on the ground floor next to the pool, it was quite damp and had a noticeable musty smell. Unfortunately, that made our stay a bit less pleasant.

Lovely boutique hotel in old town and the family loft was perfect for having children. We found lots of great places to eat nearby. The pool was a bonus, it's small but great for kids.

The room was so cute and the pool was beautiful. The free breakfast was delicious. One day we had to leave at 7 am and the hotel staff made our breakfasts to go which was so kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
