Staff and beach view great

Fabulous hotel with wonderful views over Sintra. Spotlessly clean and staff were very helpful. Very enjoyable breakfast. Highly recommended.

Lovely family suite, spotlessly clean. Communal kitchen with snacks and drinks on an honesty basis. Buffet breakfast included in price. Perfect central location. Host fantastically friendly and helpful, allowed to leave luggage while exploring. Brilliant value.

It was a real treat staying at Lawrence’s Hotel. The staff are lovely and the old fashioned and historic ambience is special. The location is superb. I would recommend arriving by taxi/bus/train rather than car as the streets are hard to navigate.

My stay at the Valverde Sintra Palacio Seteais was exceptional. The staff was attentive from the moment I walked in and looked after me throughout my stay. The atmosphere is magical and each room makes you feel truly a princess. A wonderful place that is very private and exclusive. You are made to feel with a personal touch rather than just a customer . Thank you for everything. Annalisa you are amazing . Thank you

Location was excellent , staff very friendly and The complimentary coffee and pastries was a great touch

We were looked after by Armie during our stay. Very helpful and friendly. We hired the electric bikes for the afternoon and did the Palace, Castle and Town. The room and breakfast were great. Thank you.

The villa was clean, bed comfortable, could have moved in and lived there. Staff were really helpful and communication was excellent. The garden was very tranquil and perfect to just chill or stroke Jenny (the cat), or watch the fish Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Would totally recommend storyteller to other people.

The property is in an excellent location for walking around Sintra, whilst not being in the middle of the tourist area. The room was quiet, large and beautifully decorated and clean. We stayed in room 101 which had a balcony which was lovely to sit on in the spring sunshine. They kindly catered for us as vegans for breakfast. The people at the guest house were lovely and it's a bonus that you get to use the kitchen to hot drinks. We had a wonderful time, thank you.

Hostel is great! Owner is super helpful. Would highly recommend.

The room was always clean and tidy, the staff was amazing, such kindness, they treated us like family. The breakfast buffet, amazing.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights recently. I haven't been back to Sintra for nearly 30 years and really wanted somewhere outside of Sintra's historic centre from which to explore the region again. This hotel was perfect. It hasn't been open for long and whilst that is apparent, it didn't detract from our stay. The location in Colares was perfect. Nestled on the main road to the coast, it is surrounded by lush forest at the foot of the hills on the banks of a beautifully wild river...

Great bed and breakfast with lovely grounds in a quiet location. Excellent pool & jacuzzi, large room, really helpful staff - appreciate them sorting out an early breakfast out of normal hours too.
