"Stayed here 4 nights. Pros: - Front desk staff was friendly. - Room was overall clean and simple. - Biggest pro is the location. Walking distance to all the central eating and shopping spots in Carmel. This alone makes this spot worth it especially being there multiple nights. Cons: - Room service is non existent unless you ask. -Although they do have a continental breakfast, it's super basic. I only had it one morning and still ended up going out for breakfast at a nearby spot. - If you leave and come back late, you may have to park on the street because parking spots on the property are limited. - No AC. Had to have the window open to cool the room."

"Close to Monterey Pier, Close to downtown, parking available as well as valet parking. Our room was clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful and professional. This place treats dogs like honored guests too"

"Bed/linen was clean as well as sink/bathroom. Floors were dirty and shower head was blocked so the spray was like needles. Reported to management who said they’d fix. So many kids running the halls well past 11:00pm! Nice location. Shopping is walking distance. Vintage Finds store is awesome. Restaurant across the street is good. "

"The worst experience of my life. Staff was so rude and totally disrespectful. She was acting like she was doing me a favor after she purposefully gave my room away. Them she tried to lie to me by saying that an entire building was flooded while I was the only person in the lobby that didn’t get a room. She found me a room at a horrible hotel that I didn’t book. I booked at the Hyatt and since I didn’t prepay, she felt it her right to give my room away and leave me stranded at 11:30pm at night. I felt totally discriminated against and I hate using that as a reason but it was totally obvious from the moment I arrived. I used to like Hyatt but now I will avoid them and I’m in the hospitality business. She honestly thought she could lie to me. The worst manager on the face of this earth. "

"Was not like the picture they listed. Rooms were old but clean. Next door to dennys which was good. "

"The property itself was gorgeous, as well as well maintained. The girl at the front desk was very sweet. The gym was clean and it was very easy to get around. Parking was a bit tricky because it seems like there weren’t enough spaces to go around since it is shared with the restaurant, along with the fact that there were spaces taken up by stationary maintenance vehicles and other various property equipment. Seemed like a bad place to keep it. We also got the misfortune of being placed next to a room that must have been used for storage or something. At all hours of the night we could hear various workers hacking, slamming doors, equipment, struggling with the knob, and going in and out. For the price we paid, I would have Never expected anything like that. It’s was bad enough to make me never stay there again. Had that not happened though, we definitely would have. It was so cute and fun and a shame that the night was accompanied by that. "
