The perfect home

Devonport House is a wonderful guest house in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Jenn and Jacques are great hosts and very helpful with tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast includes plenty of choices for everybody. Constantia is perfect if you are looking for a place close to Cape Town but safe and quiet.

Exceeded our already high expectations

Incredible in every aspect. Beautiful property Spotlessly clean Perfect setting. The gardens are delightful. Views from the room were stunning. Walks through the vineyards to Groot Constantia, a joy. Attention to detail is second to none Jacques and Jenn are charming hosts and wonderful company Jacques is an absolute gentleman, he went out of his way ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Pinto is the best chauffer All the team were helpful and friendly. Thank you to everyone at Devonport house for taking such good care of us and for making our stay unforgettable. Already counting down to being back next year.

Firstly huge thanks to J&J and all the staff at the property. You made us feel welcome and relaxed throughout the stay and everything was so easy for us. The room we had the Olive Tree room was a spacious suite with en suite and was just comfortable, pay and beautiful. The property itself is beautiful, comfortable and it's real selling points are the pools, a standard one and a lap pool, and the fact you can walk out the back gate to Groot Constantia literally into the vineyard. Their restaurants are absolutely beautiful as well for food and I'm a huge fan of the wine. Breakfast is continental but just enough of what you need before.you head out or relax. The bar facilities at the property are great as well for a.frink by day or night with a wonderful wine selection. We also used.Pinto one of the staff to get around to a vineyard and also onwards to Stellenbosch. He was excellent and it's a real plus to be able to add this to your bill rather than faff around with Uber if you're not driving. That said having parking on site is also great. We will definitely be back and I will be recommending to friends to book! Rich & Andy UK

Absolutely beautiful property. Super comfortable room with great bed and shower. Lovely decor throughout the place with a very tasteful mix of modern and original fittings. Some really thoughtful luxuries: they leave out a scrumptious cake and have a bar with open access to all manner of imbibing options for the evening. Just scribble down what you took. They provide a pick up and drop off service ( Thanks Pinto) to and from dinner ( and presumably other excursions into town) so that you don’t need to drive tipsy. They have a gate that allows you to walk directly to the adjacent Groot winery! Lovely breakfast with eggs, avocado, berries, crossants, etc. Our hosts were wonderful and had tons of helpful tips for our trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Wunderbares Guesthouse, in einer schönen erhöhten Lage in Constantia gelegen ist das Guesthouse idealer Ausgangspunkt für Entdeckungsreisen auf diverse interessante Weingüter und Landmarks in und um Kapstadt. Der Aufenthalt wird durch die Gastgeberpaar Jaques und Jenn und ihrer Crew zum Highlight des Jahres. Sie erfüllen praktisch alle Wünsche, haben tolle Tipps und sind zum Umarmen. Vom Oak Zimmer aus hat man auch eine tolle Sicht um den Sonnenaufgang zu erhaschen.
