"Super comfy, clean, and spacious room. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were excellent. We absolutely loved the area. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. "

"The front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast options were limited, but it has everything you need for a full breakfast.The property is situated along Medical Mile, so there aren't a lot of choices for dining, but it is a very safe area. There is a bus stop close by to take you to Grand Rapids downtown proper."

"We stayed 2 nights while we visited for the Upheaval Festival. The room was perfectly clean. We had a King Jacuzzi room and the setup was better than many we stayed in. The tub had its own separate room with a tv and its own air conditioner that was separate from the main room. Great water pressure and hot water no matter what time of day. Room was spotless when we arrived. Check in was fast and easy. Staff was good. Had very little interaction, but zero problems. Breakfast was similar to most places. Nothing amazing, but nothing terrible. Good fuel for a few busy days. "

"The Sonesta was attractive and the front desk staff very friendly and professional. Our beds and bathroom were clean but the carpet was stained and the wallpaper in the bath was buckling in one area. There were weeds outside in the landscape area. I guess deferred maintenance was the biggest problem. I would still stay there again."

"Passing through while on a road trip, so our stay was short, and a place to rest our heads. Our only concern was that after driving for 12+ hours, all we wanted to do was check in, shower, and sleep. Unfortunately, we were delayed because the receptionist was locked out of her system. The receptionist told me I would have to return until the person on the next shift arrived, since she couldn’t get in. This was a significant inconvenience since we were tired and wanted to check in. We were able to check in close to or past midnight, which took about 30 minutes while we were waiting. Maybe its a best practice if there is a manager or someone of authority to be available at all times to resolve this type of concern and delay in a guests stay. Other than that the room, was clean, Nice, and wonderful. They also offered complimentary breakfast. FYI, this is a college town so, be ready to see and hear college kids while walking around the neighborhood. Parking was extra, but luckily we found street parking and we saved the $50 that we would Have spent on parking."

"We brought our medium size dog who is very social and the staff even gave him attention. Very pet friendly place to stay!"
