This place was filthy, particularly the bathroom. The exhaust fan was caked with dirt and the walls and floors needed scrubbed. The linens were frayed and tattered. The stairway was unsafe as the open boards tilted inward. The top of the stairs had a cushioned beam as it was even too small for our 5'6" daughter to clear without injury. I have photos but don't know how to attach. We left early. Do not recommend and Expedia should not be associated. Unsafe.
It's just 3kms away from the hussel and bussle of Baga / Calangute but it's so serene and peaceful. The pool area is decorated like the 70's hippy.. Love it.. We're definitely going again when we visit Goa
The entire staff at Presa di Goa is so fantastic, helpful and very genuine. I was having Wifi and connectivity issues in my room as soon as I arrived, and they immediately got me a new router, so that my Zoom calls could go smoother. In addition, they outfitted a professional light in my room, so that all my calls were well-lit!
The owner personally took me out to dinner one night, outside the premises and treated me to a meal with alcohol. The other owner, when he arrived from France during my stay, personally got involved to help me plan a farewell pool party for all my Goa friends on their property.
I am SO blown away by the service, the food, the cleanliness and the upkeep of this property that I don't plan to stay ANYWHERE else in Goa during future trips.
Thank you Edouard, Judas, Cynthia and Rajesh for making my stay so memorable and making me feel like family! I miss you guys already...
Lovely service and family feel type of hotel. The pillows were dirty and I asked them to be changed, and they were changed promptly. They offer free beach shuttle which is amazing. Its a little bit tucked away and lack of local amenities but really good location in between baga and calangute beaches thanks to free shuttle. It was my first time in goa and I really enjoyed it.
Warm welcome, great service with smiles. Room is beautiful.
Very quiet hotel. Beach is easily reachable by complimentary car service.
Food is very tasty, excellent multicuisine.

Sw.pool water is very clean, despite monsoon rains.
Shall definitely come back here.
It was a great family holiday . We enjoyed a lot. The Hotel and it's Hospitality gives us a feeling of own Home. Service staff are too good and Accommodation is pretty nice.
Great little hotel located in Saligao, the staff are really helpful and always prompt. The room was kept neat and clean. The complimentary breakfast was good too but the kitchen could do with an upgrade. There are not too many restaurants around the vicinity and a decent restaurant would have been amazing. That aside, I recommend this hotel.

Disliked: Staff & service
Disappointing
The hotel is in a lovely converted bungalow , pretty prints and furniture and nice albeit cold (in Jan) pool. We were in the Marigold room with a verandah and clean bathroom although there was a lot of dust in corners everywhere.
Our room had a small alcove which had its own door and window in which the TV was fixed. Initially the manager told us we did not have access to that room but had to watch TV through the window from our room! after explaining that this was ridiculous he reluctantly came upstairs and prised the door open with a screwdriver. This unfortunately is the ongoing theme regarding service, any request is initially met with a NO.
During our two night stay there was loud construction work going on very loud drilling etc and we were traveling with our three year old. Request for a room change was first met with a no and then after some pressure they said they would make up a room for us in the bungalow on the other side of the pool. Which we finally could not switch to because it was musty and damp smelling. Food was below average we were actually served burnt Moussaka, Breakfast was measly too and served very late despite telling them we had an early start. Altogether very morose and disappointing and we are easy customers. Surprised by all the good reviews.
please don't go for this hotel the positive rewies which are shown on verius website is just the one side of the coin.
we can still leave the good food , good views, location, distence these point still someonce can consider but the way the treat us it was horrible and it was not at all expected by anyone.
so we booked one room for check in 25 & check out on 26 aug,2017 and we reached there around 12:00 noon but hotel people clearly denied to providing any room before 04:00 pm and it was very heavy rain i was travling along with my old uncle and aunt dispite of having enough room in the hotel they denied stating its out policy why u booked from another website if u would have book this from our end directly then only we can give something extra very very very bad behaviour.
and next day they denied for buffet breakfast stating there was only one or two type of dish available but it was not buffet u can not take secong boil ege after having one so again it was very very pathitic response by them so i will never ever recomend this hotel to anyone
thank you
A nice comfortable property which is away from hustle bustle of North Goa yet about 10 min ride from primary touristy places. We loved staying here, it is very different from a usual hotel set up but had all the facilities to make stay comfortable. Loved the decor of the room. My 5 year old enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the quiet surroundings.I wish breakfast had more options.
The pick up from the airport was seamless despite the delayed flight. The check in was quick. The rooms were cleaned daily, bed turned down every night, the sheets were white and soft, the towels were also white and clean. The breakfast served daily has a nice touch to it. Transportation was never an issue. The staff were polite and quiet. The owners were helpful. The hotel in itself was quiet, except for the birds chirping and the occasional shriek of monkeys. I wish the TV had more variety in their international channels.
Pros: free transport to the hotel as we stayed for 4 nights.Helpful hotel staff who addressed any issues quickly.Jiten @ reception was particularly helpful.
Breakfast was fine.Evening meals satisfactory.
Quiet location.
The hotel fixed us up with a driver to show us around Goa.
Cons: poor lighting in the bathroom owing to an electrical fault but we had been offered alternative accommodation to compensate.
No water on x2 occasions from the taps but this was also addressed quickly.
I did the intrepid 30 days north and south of India. Seeing as our last stop was in Goa, I wanted to add 4 days to relax and explore Goa for a few days more. I chose PRESA Di Goa and I'm so happy I did.
I stayed in the boutique Portuguese influenced hotel and enjoyed every bit of it. My room was Lotus, a deluxe single room. It was clean, from the plush shower/bathroom ( a luxury in India!)and gorgeous quaint bedroom. My bed was a four poster high bed and I felt like a princess in it. The balcony didn't have a stunning view but it was pleasant and private enough of the palm trees a nearby neighbourhood Street. The facilities were satisfactory: a/c, TV, closet space, desk and fan. What was great was that as soon as you shut the balcony doors the room could be completely dark (great for light sleepers who don't want to be awoken by sun)
There's a great pool by the outdoor restaurant.
The hotel staff were lovely and helpful especially when it came to asking questions about markets etc. There is a shuttle service (only permits one return journey a day) but make sure you specify where you are going becUse if it's out of the Calangute /Baga beach zone then you will be charged. I often found cheaper alternatives by heading to the main road (5 minutes walk left out of the hotel) it really shouldn't be more than 300 -400 rupees to most places within 5- 15 km and auto rickshaw's will take you for less.
Thanks to staff: receptionist Jiten, breakfast Sohan, Mithien and young Kahnie
Fantastic old style hotel with swimming pool & excellent food menu. Very nice & helpful staff nothing was too much trouble. Liked the free transfers from the airport to hotel & back again which eased our journey. Also free trips to local beach resorts were great. If u want to visit local attractions a taxi can be arranged for very reasonable cost. I loved the hotel & location & would recommend to anyone who wants to see Goa. I want to return sometime.
Eduardo and Jitun were always most helpful. When I had an issue with the AC in the first room I was given, I was moved into the owners suite. The AC was ice cold in minutes. When I mentioned my mattress was too hard, they provided a great cushion pad and I slept great every time. Comfy pillows, clean rooms, clean grounds. Complimentary well rounded breakfast and the other meals I had there were good, too. Complimentary beach shuttle from 10 am to 6 pm.
The location is close to the main roads, but in a very quiet and safe area. A small market and vegetable market within walking distance. Small refreshing pool with nice loungers, towels and umbrellas.
Whenever I needed something, the staff was most accommodating.
The only issue I had was with the hot water and hot water pressure.
Great place to stay, and very relaxing. The accommodation and food were excellent and the staff were very helpful. We were travelling as a family of four (two teenage children) and it was our first holiday in India.
