"The location was perfect—right on the marina and close to all the activities around the reef and shopping plus parks and restaurants. The staff were amongst some of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve had on our travels!"

"Locality perfect for walking to the wharf for reef excursions. And the CBD. Only stayed for one night but the facilities (pools etc) looked amazing.
Desk staff were lovely."

Fantastic location and nice quality spacious accommodation. Highly recommended!
Only comments are that the hob (2 ring) was small if you are a foody and want to cook. The air conditioning in the bedroom was excellent but none in the living room which would have been preferred. The apartments are self catering, not serviced, which was fine by us.

We spent four days in the Alamanda in a 2 bedroom suite as part of a family reunion. The suite was spacious, comfortable. clean and surprisingly well-equipped - it felt more like a home than a hotel. The location is superb - right on the beach and backing on to a creek (sadly we never saw the crocodile that was reputed to live there!). And the facilities (three pools, including one for adults only) were all we could wish for.

Great self catering option in a beautiful area with really great amenities. Lovely pool and BBQ area that we used - kitchen and apartment well equipped and spacious place. Few minutes walk from beach and all the shops, eateries etc. parking included and easy to access a bonus too. We had a great stay - really suitable for families.

The staff were helpful and friendly upon arrival.
The facilities were good, we used both the pool and gym.
We also had the breakfast buffet and thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Lovely large room with separate bedroom. Air con throughout although bedroom air con unit noisy and not always responsive. Basic items for eating food and microwave to heat things up. Great views out over the water watching the boats and ships coming and going. Laundry on site was a bonus. Very convenient for all the downtown activities.

Lovely place to stay. Beds made up every day. Staff very friendly. You can book tours etc at the front of the hotel. Lots of places nearby to eat. Towels provided for beach. Can't fault
