"The hotel is located right in the town so it’s easy to walk to the local shops and attractions. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. It was a little bit noisy but that’s my only complaint if any. "
"Rooms are too hot and reception told us they didn't supply fans. The place feels like a ghost town. There's no choice of stuff to do as most of things are closed. The place would benefit from a pub garden and another building with spa pool for the adults. "
"Unpretentious simple accommodations complimented with premium bedding and bath soaps.
Hotel is warm and accommodating. Breakfast was magnificent.
Staff were genuinely wonderful and friendly
We would highly recommend this hotel."
"Room was wonderfully updated and clean. Comfortable beds and breakfast was great. Would definitely stay there again and recommend this to others when visiting this area. "
"This hotel has a lot of potential. We were raced through our evening meal with hardly a gap between courses. The main meal was venison casserole which was delicious but it was served with overcooked frozen brussel sprouts and frozen peas and sweetcorn mixed which lowered the quality of the meal. The rest of the meal was ok. Some of the staff in the dining room were less than communicative. I love the hotels ambience and it could be excellent."

High Range Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was amazing! It’s been newly renovated and felt fresh, modern, and incredibly comfortable. Our room was spotless and surprisingly spacious for our family of four, which made a big difference. The showers were fantastic, and the towels were thick, soft, and luxurious which felt incredible after a long day of hiking. The location was also perfect, just around the corner from several great restaurants. On top of all that, the receptionist was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which really added to the overall experience. We’d definitely stay here again if we get the chance!"
"Check in was easy you get a code sent for the front and room door, very well equipped with a small kitchen area with a fridge which when travelling with a dog was really useful for the food. Bed lovely and comfy with a small balcony area to sit out and as the weather was so good was perfect. Ample parking with a very short walk into Aviemore, plenty local shops, cafes and pubs/restaurants to choose from

"A great site and a quality lodge chalet with a friendly and warm welcome from the owners. Very accessible for Braemar and surrounding natural scenery. Absolutely excellent!"
"Julie and I had a great stay at the hotel. Unfortunately we had to take Alfie, Julie’s scruffy wee dog at the last minute. I spoke to someone at the hotel and they kindly moved us to their sister hotel next door that allows wee hairy animals. We certainly would return again. I might even consider inviting Alfie as he enjoyed his stay too 😊. "
