Stunning hotel. Very good location. Within walking distance of the pink city. The restaurant and cafe are stunning. The pool is a little small but the rooftop is stunning to watch the sunset. The staff are amazing and the rooms are too. The bathrooms are clean and modern. The hotel feels like a sanctuary amongst the madness of Jaipur

A lovely heritage property, very helpful staff. It's an very large old building which has some renovation work going on (this did not disturb me in the slightest as it was far from my room). It did make it a little dusty but this is unavoidable as renovations will always be needed to maintain old buildings. Nice room, could do with blackout curtains as there are many windows and some light coming in during the night.

Hospital staff takes pride in their work. Breakfast buffet is great and all restaurant staff really caters to your needs. They make you feel welcome. House keeping is wonderful and will meet your requests within minutes. Extra bed we needed could have been little better. I really like to thank Abhishek, Amit, Priye, Aita, Ranjeet in the restaurant and Jyoti and the Manaher Mr Roshan. Other staff member who was very good was Mr Jaiparkash. Loved it!

This haveli with its beautiful garden makes a perfect base to explore Jaipur.There is a roof top terrace where you can sit and read and there is the added bonus of excellent Wi-Fi and you are able to receive Western News channels through the television.The staff are friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere of the hotel is of relaxed friendliness.There is also the added bonus of an excellent cafe within the hotel which serves vegetarian food at a very reasonable cost.

Had great nights sleep. Could not hear any traffic noise. Staff very professional and efficient. We had standard and superior rooms both excellent. There is a box in reception for staff tips. This works so well and helps towards a hassle free stay. Only minus the dining room is like a canteen, but the food is good.

Beautiful property on quiet road. Bedrooms great comfortable . Nice setting to eat buffet breakfast in outside courtyard. Meals and snacks freshly cooked. Staff very friendly. Negative is surrounding area outside the hotel. We used uber to visit all the many sites.

Amazing experience, couldn’t have been better.

Rooms were extremely clean and had a very comfortable, enormous bed with crisp white sheets. Great hot shower and large bathroom with hairdryer. Seperate seating area off the bedroom too. Traditional indian style breakfast on their rooftop dining area. We also had the thali dinner there twice which was exrremely tasty. Clean room, good cafeteria and friendly customer service

The stay was excellent and the staff were very attentive, especially Balwant, our waiter, he was very caring.

We loved staying at the Umaid Mahal. It has an Indian charm and most helpful staff. We particularly enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop terrace for drinks and dinner. Local music and dancers added a pleasant atmosphere. It was simple to get taxis and transport from the hotel to anywhere. Air conditioned rooms were clean, spacious and had a great shower in the bathroom. To be recommended as a good spot from which to explore Jaipur. From the time I entered the hotel to the time I left the front desk---everything was proffessionally done. I liked all the people looking after the hotel. The most important thing was --everyone had a smile on his face. You rock.

Comfortable clean good value room. Traffic means 20 minute tuk-tuk to old city sites. Excellent friendly roof top restaurant with high quality varied food and drink offerings. Recommended.
