"Room was decent overall, but several areas needed work. The shower lever did not let most of the water go to the shower so it was a weak stream. The bed had a dip on one side, but I only needed one side of the bed as I was traveling alone on this trip. But the area was quiet and clean in Richmond and close to several restaurants. The coffee was cold but there was juice and breakfast had a waffle maker available and milk/cereal, but no butter or syrup for the waffles. There was no one around to make a fresh pot of coffee or restock anything. If you are looking for a quiet place to sleep, it checks that box but not much else."

"Stayed here while vending at the Mountain Mushroom Festival. The property was clean and quiet. Staff was helpful. No issues at all during this stay."

"I paid their pre authorization charge (the entire cost of the room) and then didn’t get the money back. They wanted to charge me again for the room and said I’d be getting the original charge back soon. That’s all fine except for the fact that I didn’t have enough to pay for the room a second time. Because of this, I couldn’t pay for my room and it had to be canceled. I just came to meet up with someone in town the next day, but I had to drive four and a half hours back home the same night. It was incredibly inconvenient. I understand it’s a policy, but it’s not a great one."

"Would not stay here again. To start, when we I booked, I paid (extra) for a suite with a sofa bed. The room we were given had no sofa bed, it was just a standard room. We made it work, as we were told upon entry, that they were no other room available. We get into to room, it wasn’t awful looking, just a lot of holes in the walls (foreshadowing). We were provided ZERO towels in the room. We called and they brought offered us ONE towel (for 5 people). We checked out the hot tub, had to call for more towels there as well, as there were none….The hot tub was okay until my fiancé got in and there is a giant hole in one of the floor grates, so his leg went right into the hole and came out completely scratched up from the plastic broken cage. The best part was packing up and finding MOUSE DROPPINGS EVERYWHERE. They weren’t there when we arrived, but you could hear them skittering around during the night. Just a terrible experience l, and I cannot imagine staying here with small children! Stay somewhere else if that’s an option!"
