"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"You store plates, mugs and cups under the counter at breakfast. The counter and breakfast "pickings" are in a narrow walk through. It is not obvious to people walking in where the glasses, plates mugs are stored, especially in busy times, where you had not refreshed with clean crockery. If your counter was positioned away from the narrow alley then it would be obvious on you approach."

"The hotel itself is incredible, the staff are helpful and friendly and the room was excellent. A couple of negative comments: I stayed in Room 7 which was a real trek from the reception area including a very tight set of steps at the end. Very difficult with a suitcase. The parking gave great confusion. On the noticeboards in the car park it clearly states that your car registration has to be declared in the hotel and parking paid for. I duly registered my car for the number of nights on the keypad. When I asked about payment, one member of staff told me there was nothing to pay as I was a hotel guest. Another member of staff told me I did need to pay. When I left I again inquired about parking and was told there was nothing to pay and indeed refused to take my money. It was then qualified by the statement 'if you receive a parking fine, contact us and we will void it'. I didn't fill me with confidence that the staff do not appear to know whether or not hotel guests are required to pay for parking or not. It is to be seen whether I receive a fine or not..."
