Top Burntisland Hotel Reviews

Apex Grassmarket Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"If you want to be in a great location in Edinburgh, this is it. We had four families. Including 7 children. They loved the pool and being right in the Grassmarket under the Castle, near Victoria Street, the fabulous Museum of Scotland and Greyfriars Kirk. Staff were so professional and kind. We were there during a heat wave, and missed air conditioning, but got by with the fans. Definitely recommend!"

Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
8/10 Good
"Can't fault them for cleanliness. It's also in a very convenient location. My only complaints are that there was only one working lift which made for long wait times. Second, we were given a disabled room which we are not made aware of It would have been fine except the bathroom was an issue as when taking a shower the entire bathroom floor became soaked. We didn't get to use the restaurant so can't comment on that. Overall, nice place for decent price."

Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, near enough to be close but further away from the busy mile. Restaurant food was very good as were all the staff. Downside is the lifts, can be very slow!"

Market Street Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The reception for this hotel is up on the 7th floor, to make the most of it’s fabulous views & balcony space, which is a little strange when you first arrive, as it doesn’t look all that inviting from ground level! That said, the views up on the 7th are great & with the glass balconied terrace, as well as lofty mirrored seating areas around the bar (also breakfast area in the mornings), you can soak up the great views with a drink & very comfortable seating spaces. A glass of complimentary champagne on arrival as a nice touch ! All staff were so welcoming & friendly & made you feel very relaxed & cared for. Our room, whilst not overly large, was so well sound proofed & quiet & had all you could wish for …. slippers, bath robes, brolly, hair dryer, super comfy bed, the rain shower was sublime, we appreciated our steamer for creased clothes, rather than an iron & were very impressed with the varied selection of complimentary drinks in our mini bar. Also liked the shutter/door that closed over our window & blocked out all daylight. Breakfast selection was good/varied with continental & cooked options. Just by Waverley station it has a great location, with most sights right on your doorstep, albeit with quite a few steep hills & stairs to climb!!! Would highly recommend & thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
